Job Title: Client Recovery Assistant

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT:   Treatment

Range: $16.64-$17.64

Hours: Monday through Friday, 12a-8a (graveyard)

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee activities of clients in treatment.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Reports directly to the Clinical Director of Treatment

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the orientation process to the Facility.
  • Pull food items for upcoming client meals.
  • Present program information to clients as directed by the Case Manager(s) and/or the Program Director.
  • Transport clients to appointments as directed.
  • Oversee day or evening activities, chores, curfew, etc.
  • Monitor clients’ behavior and activities with a house walk every half hour.
  • Document client activities in charts.
  • Know and abide by laws, and regulations governing chemical dependency, i.e., confidentiality, and mandated reporting.
  • Perform all duties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.
  • Represent Pathways ethically and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent. Valid California driver’s license (w/clean DMV). Ability to follow directions and receive feedback. Available to work all shifts (day, swing, and graveyard). Ability to lift and carry groceries.

Must pass a DOJ background, must have a HS diploma or equivalent!

WORK EXPERIENCE: Combination of 1 year work experience and/or college course work in the Substance Abuse field (preferred but not required).

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS: Knowledge of 12-step programs is desired. Ability to interact with clients in a non-reactive, non-judgmental manner

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Flexibility, intelligence, self-starter, common sense. who is available to work evenings from Monday to Friday, specifically from 5 PM to 9 PM. Additionally, this counselor should be willing to be on call and be available on Saturday mornings.

The position requires candidates willing to pursue further education and, ideally, are certified or registered.

Counselors should be SUD (Substance Use Disorder)  Counselors with Credentials through an approved state agency entity

Job Title: Administration Assistant

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT:    OPERATIONS

RANGE: $20.00-$22.00

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Executive Director, general office duties, and projects assigned. Work within reporting procedures and data collection. Performs clerical duties, which include maintaining files, filing, scheduling meetings, responsible for maintaining office supplies and equipment. Handles the daily deposits for the DUI School, and maintains and enters all accounts payable into QuickBooks.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The general supervision of the Executive Director.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clerical duties include projects for the Executive Director
  • Coordinate drug testing and physicals for new hires.
  • Perform New Employee Orientations.
  • Data entry, and accounts payable processing.
  • Coordination of timely review of all policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent clerical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Excel, MS Word and QuickBooks desired.
  • Able to maintain strict non-disclosure of personnel and privacy concerns.
  • Good problem solver, self-starter, pays attention to details.
  • QuickBooks Desktop knowledge

WORK EXPERIENCE

A combination of work experience and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the specified duties professionally and ethically.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS

  • Possession of current driver’s license, personal automobile, and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Must not be on or have or have been on probation within the past year.

Job Title: Part-Time Counselor

Pathways has an opening for a part-time counselor who can work evenings from Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 9 PM. Preferably, this individual should be bilingual and open to working Saturdays if necessary.

The position requires candidates who are willing to pursue further education and, ideally, are certified or registered.
